RESPONSIBLE funds must meet high ethical standards via adhering to wide range of exclusion criteria

RESPONSIBLE funds are categorized according to article 8 of Disclosure regulation. 

In addition to traditional financial analysis, their goal is to promote environmental and/or social topics, as well as issues in the field of corporate governance (ESG), not only within investment decisions, but also by exerting a direct influence on the management of companies in portfolios (active ownership).

RESPONSIBLE funds must meet high ethical standards via adhering to wide range of exclusion criteria.

"Best in Class" approach that ensures the selection of the most sustainable companies in each industry is applied.

Generally for portfolios of RESPONSIBLE funds in Erste Asset Management only investments in companies with ESGenius® score of at least 50 out of 100 possible points  are eligible, with full ESG data coverage processed by Erste Asset Management of 100% of the net asset value in the fund.

Scale of ESGenius® score

Good governance practices are assessed on the basis of compliance with exclusion criteria, a minimum ESGenius® score and an assessment of compliance with the principles of the UN Global Compact initiative.
