What are environmental technologies?
Environmental technologies help protect and improve our environment. For example, they help us produce less waste, use energy more efficiently and keep our air and water clean. Here are some examples of environmental technologies:
Solar energy is a clean and renewable energy source. It uses the sun's energy to generate electricity. Solar cells installed on the roofs of houses absorb this radiation and convert it into electrical energy. This energy can then be used to power electrical appliances in the home or even fed into the public power grid.

Water treatment technologies purify contaminated water. They can help to remove pollutants from water, making it safe for human consumption. The purified water can then be returned to the environment - for example to rivers or lakes. In this way, harmful effects on the animal and plant world can be reduced.

Wind energy uses the wind to generate electricity. Large wind turbines, which are often installed in windy areas such as coastal areas or open plains, turn in the wind and generate electrical energy. This energy can then be fed into the electricity grid or used locally. Large wind turbines are often installed in windy areas to harness this energy source.

Recycling is the process of collecting waste materials and transforming them into new products. This can help to reduce the amount of waste sent to landfill. At the same time, valuable resources are conserved. Examples of recycling processes include melting down glass or metal to make new products or shredding paper to produce recycled paper.
Why invest in sustainable funds?

- It is important to invest in companies that do not pollute the environment, do not manufacture weapons and respect human rights, or in companies that care about reducing energy consumption, water consumption, waste production and waste sorting, provide a good working environment for their employees and support local community development projects.
